Comace Community

In April 2012, Comace was recognised as a Socially Responsible Business as an acknowledgement of its support of Southern Junction Community Services (SJCS).  SJCS is an independent not for profit community organisation which, for more than 30 years, has been dynamically responding to the needs of vulnerable children, marginalised young people and disadvantaged families in southern Adelaide and the Fleurieu, including Kangaroo Island.
Southern Junction Community Services depends on the support of the extended community to provide these life-changing services and Comace is proud to be one of their supporters.  Learn more about their work at

As a Socially Responsible Business, Comace is working with SJCS to build sustainable communities through:

  • Inspiring Leadership
  • Pursuit of Quality
  • Promoting Citizenship
  • Positive Organisational Cultures

To date our involvement includes a salary deduction program supported by many of our staff and matched by Comace Managing Director Paul Williams; participation by staff in the annual fundraising event ‘Feet on the Street’ which is part of the City to Bay event – to be held this year on Sunday 16 September; collection of donated goods that may then be provided to young people and families in need.  If you’re interested in joining us in this important work, do call Clare MacAdam, Partnerships, Marketing & Fundraising Manager at SJCS on 8392 3065 – she’ll be pleased to hear from you.
